NBA Legend Anfernee "Penny" Hardaway is coming to Wichita, But it was his Grandmother's FAITH that kept his dreams alive.

According to Google, Coach "Penny" Hardaway once struggled with his ACT exams while on his journey to become a college standout and NBA legend. It was his Grandmother's #Faith from the days of attending Early Grove Baptist Church that helped see him through.

On January 24th, 2026 Coach penny will be in the "Roundhouse" or Charles Koch Arena in Wichita, Kansas to play the hosting Wichita State Men's Basketball Team. Colby Rogers, a former player, and personal friend while attending Wichita State as a High Flying Sharp Shooter for the Wichita State Shockers, set an example not only on the court, but on campus. Unfortunately Mr. Rogers, as I would seldom call him within passing, transferred to Memphis, but having the chance to be coached by not only one of the best players to ever play the game, but mentored on being a stand up man of god during a time to where peer pressure to go left is everywhere.
